DOE takes 40% stake in Korea Zinc Tennessee critical-metals refinery JV

The Department of Energy agreed to a 40% equity stake in a joint-venture refinery Korea Zinc will build in Tennessee to process antimony, indium, germanium, gallium and bismuth — critical metals where the US currently has zero domestic refining capacity.
