The fine print

CatalystView publishes information drawn from public SEC filings, paired with AI-generated commentary. Nothing here is investment advice — please read these before relying on anything you see.

Terms of Service

Last updated · June 10, 2026

1 · Acceptance

Agreement to these terms

These Terms govern your use of CatalystView (catalystview.xyz, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Investment Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2 · The Service

What CatalystView is — and is not

CatalystView aggregates public SEC EDGAR insider filings and congressional STOCK Act disclosures, ranks them, and pairs significant ones with automatically-generated AI commentary and an aggregate “track record” view. It is an information and research tool. It is not a broker, an investment adviser, a trading platform, or a source of personalised advice, and it does not execute trades. The Service is currently a public preview and is provided as-is.

3 · Eligibility

Who may use CatalystView

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful where you live; the Service is not directed at anyone in a jurisdiction where it would be unlawful.

4 · Accounts

Your account

Some features require an account, created through our authentication provider. You are responsible for the security of your login and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You may delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

5 · Pricing

Free service · voluntary donations

CatalystView is currently free to use. There is no paid tier and we do not take payment for access. If we offer optional, voluntary donations, they are exactly that — gifts that buy no product, entitlement, or service level, and are generally non-refundable. If we introduce paid features in the future, the price and terms will be shown clearly before you are ever charged.

6 · Acceptable use

What you may not do

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service beyond normal browsing, or hammer our API.
  • Resell, redistribute, or republish the AI commentary or curated rankings as your own product.
  • Reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt to breach the Service or its security.
  • Use the Service to break the law, infringe rights, or send spam.
  • Misrepresent the Service as personalised advice or as endorsed by any regulator.

The underlying SEC EDGAR filings are public records you are free to obtain directly from the government.

7 · Intellectual property

Ownership and licence

The public filings themselves are U.S. Government records and are not owned by us. The curation, ranking, design, written copy, and AI commentary on the Service are owned by the operator. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own informational purposes. All trademarks are the property of their owners.

8 · Third-party content

AI commentary, data, and links

AI commentary is produced automatically by third-party language models and is not reviewed by a human before publication; it can be wrong. Market data and prices come from third-party sources and may be delayed or inaccurate. External links are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for third-party sites. The original SEC filing always governs over any summary — see the Investment Disclaimer.

9 · Disclaimers

“As is” — no warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information or AI commentary is accurate, complete, or current. Nothing here is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.

10 · Limitation of liability

Cap on damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and its contractors and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any decision to buy, sell, or hold a security. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to EUR 50 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (which, for a free service, is zero), whichever is greater. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11 · Indemnity

Your responsibility

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12 · Termination

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service, and we may modify or discontinue the Service (it is a preview) at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive — disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, IP, governing law — survive termination.

13 · Governing law

Law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of Lithuania — without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the EU.

14 · Miscellaneous & contact

General provisions

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the operator regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version and material changes will be communicated via the Service.
