D-Wave signs LOI for $100M CHIPS Act funding, will issue shares to Commerce
D-Wave Quantum announced it has signed a Letter of Intent for $100 million in funding under the CHIPS and Science Act administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce. In connection with final award documents, D-Wave would issue $100 million in shares of its common stock to the Department of Commerce, giving the U.S. government an equity stake in the company.
